Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern access to and use of the MeddStaff platform, including its website, mobile applications, and related services. By creating an account, accessing, or using the platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

MeddStaff is a healthcare staffing marketplace that connects licensed healthcare professionals with healthcare facilities seeking staffing support. MeddStaff facilitates discovery, verification, communication, applications, bookings, attendance verification, and related operational services. MeddStaff is not an employer, staffing agency, healthcare provider, insurer, payment processor, or party to engagements between users.

Healthcare professionals must possess all licenses, registrations, certifications, and legal authority required to practice. Healthcare facilities must have authority to recruit or engage professionals. Users must provide accurate and complete information.

MeddStaff may require identity, credential, registration, and facility verification before allowing access to platform features. Verification does not constitute a guarantee of competence, suitability, conduct, or future performance. Users must keep account information accurate and current.

Healthcare facilities may publish staffing requirements. Healthcare professionals may apply for available opportunities. A booking is confirmed only when a healthcare facility reviews and accepts an application. Facilities may accept or reject applications at their discretion, subject to applicable law.

MeddStaff does not employ healthcare professionals and does not engage them on behalf of healthcare facilities. Any engagement formed through the platform is solely between the healthcare professional and the healthcare facility. Nothing in these Terms creates an employment, agency, partnership, joint venture, or fiduciary relationship with MeddStaff.

MeddStaff does not currently process, collect, hold, distribute, or guarantee payments between users. Compensation information displayed on the platform is provided by healthcare facilities for informational purposes. Payment arrangements are made directly between healthcare professionals and healthcare facilities. MeddStaff is not responsible for payment disputes, delayed payments, deductions, taxes, reimbursements, or compensation disagreements.

Location access may be required for attendance verification and active shift management. Healthcare professionals participating in bookings must provide required location permissions during active shifts. Location information is collected only for operational purposes associated with active bookings, including attendance verification, accountability, dispute resolution, platform integrity, and compliance requirements. Users who decline mandatory location permissions may be unable to start or continue active shifts.

Healthcare professionals are solely responsible for maintaining valid licenses, registrations, qualifications, certifications, insurance obligations, and legal authority required for their profession. Healthcare professionals are solely responsible for diagnoses, prescriptions, treatment decisions, patient interactions, medical judgments, and all professional services provided.

Healthcare facilities are solely responsible for workplace safety, staffing requirements, patient care standards, regulatory compliance, supervision obligations, employment practices, operational policies, and facility management. MeddStaff does not supervise clinical work or facility operations.

MeddStaff may maintain internal reliability and reputation systems. Cancellations occurring within six hours of a scheduled shift may result in reputation penalties. Repeated cancellations, no shows, fraudulent conduct, or reliability concerns may result in temporary restrictions or permanent account suspension. MeddStaff may attempt to facilitate emergency replacement staffing but does not guarantee replacement availability.

Following completed bookings, healthcare professionals and healthcare facilities may provide ratings and reviews. Reviews must be truthful, accurate, and based on genuine experiences. MeddStaff may remove reviews that violate platform policies, contain abusive content, contain unlawful material, or otherwise threaten platform integrity.

Users shall not provide false information, submit fraudulent credentials, impersonate others, misuse platform services, interfere with platform operations, engage in unlawful conduct, manipulate ratings, attempt unauthorized access, violate intellectual property rights, or use the platform in violation of applicable law.

MeddStaff may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts at its discretion where necessary to protect platform integrity, user safety, legal compliance, or business operations. Grounds may include fraud, fake credentials, repeated no shows, abusive conduct, impersonation, document falsification, regulatory concerns, or violation of these Terms.

All rights, title, and interest in the MeddStaff platform, branding, software, content, trademarks, and technology remain the exclusive property of MeddStaff or its licensors. Users receive a limited, revocable, non exclusive right to access and use the platform in accordance with these Terms.

MeddStaff may introduce subscriptions, premium services, payment features, transaction fees, commissions, enhanced verification services, or other commercial offerings. Any applicable fees or pricing terms will be communicated before becoming effective.

The platform is provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis. MeddStaff makes no guarantee regarding platform availability, suitability of users, availability of opportunities, outcomes of engagements, accuracy of user supplied information, compensation arrangements, or uninterrupted service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MeddStaff shall not be liable for patient outcomes, medical malpractice, clinical negligence, professional misconduct, healthcare decisions, workplace incidents, employment disputes, compensation disputes, regulatory violations, licensing issues, lost profits, lost opportunities, indirect damages, consequential damages, special damages, or actions of healthcare professionals, healthcare facilities, patients, or third parties. MeddStaff's role is limited to providing a marketplace platform.

Users agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless MeddStaff, its owner, affiliates, representatives, employees, contractors, and service providers from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, penalties, and expenses arising from user conduct, professional activities, facility operations, regulatory violations, patient claims, misuse of the platform, or violations of these Terms.

Users should first attempt to resolve disputes through MeddStaff support. MeddStaff may facilitate communication but is not obligated to resolve disputes between users. Matters involving legal rights, regulatory obligations, or judicial proceedings shall remain subject to applicable law.

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, the courts located in Jaipur, Rajasthan shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of the platform.

MeddStaff may modify these Terms from time to time. Updated versions become effective upon publication unless otherwise stated. Continued use of the platform after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
