Getting verified on MeddStaff: the documents doctors need

Hospitals book doctors on MeddStaff because every profile is verified before it goes live. Verification happens once, when you join, and it is the only thing between downloading the app and applying for shifts. Here is what you need and how to get through it quickly.

The five onboarding steps

Onboarding in the MeddStaff Doctor app has five short steps:

1. Profile: your name, contact details and home address. The address is used only to match you with shifts nearby.
2. Medical: your medical council, such as the Rajasthan Medical Council, and your registration details.
3. Degree: your qualifications, from MBBS to PG, super-specialty and any fellowships.
4. Docs: the certificates that prove them.
5. Role: the role you want shifts for, such as RMO, anaesthetist or ICU intensivist.

The documents to upload

• State registration certificate from your medical council.
• UG degree certificate for your MBBS.
• PG degree certificate if you list an MD, MS, DNB or diploma.
• Super-specialty degree certificate if you list a DM, MCh or DrNB.
• Fellowship certificates for any fellowships you list.

You can upload PDF, JPEG, PNG or WEBP files. A profile photo is optional, but a clear one helps the hospital recognise you when you arrive.

How the review works

Our team checks each document against the details in your profile. Approvals are typically completed within 24-48 hours. If a document is unclear or does not match, you are asked to upload it again, and your profile goes back into review once you do.

Tips to get approved first time

• Scan documents flat and in good light, with every edge and stamp visible.
• Make sure your name matches across your profile and every certificate.
• Upload the certificate for every qualification you list, not just the highest one.
• Check that your registration is current before you upload it.
